Much isn’t known about the Dorrance Drug Store, from what we could find it was built prior to 1908. The store can be seen in the picture above next to the Dorrance Post Office which accompanied it for decades. Interestingly enough there are actually quite a few historical photos of the drug store but the information was little to none detailing the history.

Per the window decals, the store popularly sold cream & soda, cigars and other things commonly found back then. The large blocks have remained relatively unchanged since their construction giving a beautiful golden yellow color on the street. The building has been abandoned for decades allowing for the roof to cave in and the elements to take over. The building is now only a shell of the once-bustling commercial business that it used to be.
