The Humboldt jail cell located at the Humboldt Historical Society is a white single cell. This represents many other jails in Kansas such as the cells still existing in Muscotah, Sylvia and Goff. These cells were usually located within old city halls and removed when those buildings were demolished and rebuilt, some were taken to scrapyards and some were saved. Thankfully this one was saved and is not able to visit at the Historical Society headquarters.
